Scuba diving is outsourced in French Polynesia. Regulations are extremely stringent, and at this time we do not have permits for your TradeWinds crew to lead the dives from the yacht itself. These stringent regulations make for some of the most unspoiled and healthy corals in the world. We organise diving through Patrick at "Dive n' Smile". Diving is with high pressure steel tanks, and your own regulator set may not have the correct attachment or be rated for this higher pressure. We offer diving in the mornings on three days, and one or two tank dives are possible on each of these days. Your captain will book your diving for you after discussing the options with the group on Saturday.
Diving is cash only, at a cost of US$90.00 (XPF8,000) per one-tank dive and US$160.00 (XPF15,000) per two-tank dive for certified divers, and US$100.00 (XPF9,000)for an introductory dive for non-certified divers.
Depending on the number of divers onboard, weather conditions, experience and availability of the dive school our guests tend to do between 2 and 6 dives per week. Please provide us with as much information as possible upon reservation, and we will pass this to your crew so that they make make the booking.
If you would like to dive before or after your charter we recommend Fun Dive on Moorea, Dive n' Smile on Bora and Raie Manta or Yaka diving on Rangiroa. These all offer small group, personalised diving experiences with an emphasis on safety and fun.
